Fall Equinox is upon us, yet another change, another season. We blended this with the thoughts of the winds of change that seems to blow this time of year. The air gets a little crisper, you can still feel the warmth of the Sun and yet our mornings and evenings have that chill in the air that reminds us the seasons are changing.
The sweet orange brings the Sun into this blend along with happiness and laughter into the pschye.
The addition of Lemon is like seeing a familiar face in a crowd of strangers, these molecules seem to know their well-traveled scent trails to the brain and are instantly recognized. These very personal associations may create impressions that last a lifetime and influence use. For some, the aroma of Lemon essential oil is said to sharpen and aid in focusing the mind1, but it is also reported to have a gentle, calming effect. For Marcel Lavabre, "…the small lemon tree gives the impression of fresh, optimistic, fearless strength." For Suzanne Fischer-Rizzi, Lemon is a “rational” oil, helpful for calming or avoiding stormy emotional outbursts.
The Cinnamon Bark is perfect for use in a diffuser, particularly for immune support around the holiday season.
Lastly we chose Clove Bud as it is energetically wonderful when someones heart is to open so to speak, emotionally in pain, or hurting. Energetically it can be used in a blend to "numb" the emotional pain for a but, so healing can begin to occur. Clove bud hellps warm the soul and emotional body.
Citrus sinensis (Orange sweet), Citrus limon (Lemon), Cinnamomum zeylanicum (Cinnamon Bark), Eugenia caryophllata (Clove bud)
