What is your return policy?

We are very proud of our products and want you to be happy with the ones you select.

We encourage you to open and inspect your order as soon as you receive it. If there is a problem with the order; i.e, you received the wrong item or an item was damaged in shipping, please telephone or email our office immediately.


We will, of course, make it right as quickly as possible. Any claims on damaged or wrong items must be made within 7 days of the delivery date of your order. If your order has been damaged, please hold on to it so the carrier company can cover the cost of the product.

Prior to returning an order, you must first notify Botanically Rooted at 336.294.7727 of the problem with your order. We will not refund or credit your account without prior authorization. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable.

We cannot offer refunds or exchanges on essential oils, vegetable (carrier) oils, shea products or any perishable or potentially contaminated oil.


Classes are non-refundable except under extenuating circumstances.  A non-refundable deposit of $150.00 is requited to secure class placement. 


We do offer exchanges or refunds on unopened and/or unused Aromatherapy supplies such as diffusers, empty bottles or pipets, however there will be a restocking fee of 20%.

Online you can pay with credit card (visa, discover, mastercard, amex) as well as paypal.

In store you may pay with credit card (visa, discover, mastercard, amex) as well as check or cash.

Shipping & Fulfillment Times?

Please note: We pour, blend and create all of our products by hand. This ensures your products are quality, made with love, and at their freshest when you receive them!


Due to this we have a 2 week turn around time on all orders (not including shipping time). We usually have all orders filled within a day or two, however there may always be an exception so we like to have this policy in place to be safe!


Keep in mind that no matter what shipping method you decide on, that time frame is only valid once the item ships from our location,


We are working to get better shipping rates for our customers, we know this has been an issue, USPS has increased rates weekly since COVID started.
