Ingredients: Shea butter, Cocoa butter, Beeswax,  Coconut RBD infused with violet leaf, Dandelion, Yarrow, Red Raspberry leaf, Ginger and Tumeric, Castor oil, Evening Primrose oil, Frankincense resin powder. Directions of use: Apply a small amount to the breast 1-2 times daily. Avoid the nipple area if breastfeeding. Use within 1 year of purchase.

 

Rationale:

 Evening primrose oil: This herb is said to be effective in alleviating pain and tenderness associated with breast lumps

Violet leaf is  known to promote lymphatic health. Violet leaf works directly with breast tissue and helps to smooth out fibrous cysts, lumps, tumors, infections or growths. It is cooling and anti-inflammatory and is often associated with attracting powerful and healing vibrations.

Dandelion: Dandelion is believed to help regulate hormones and reduce inflammation.

Yarrow: Yarrow is believed to have anti-inflammatory properties and may help reduce the size of breast lumps.

Ginger: Ginger inhibits the formation of lumps in the breast and possesses antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, which help relieve the symptoms associated with breast lumps 

Turmeric: Turmeric has anti-inflammatory properties that may help reduce the size of breast lumps.

Frankincense Resin: Studies show that frankincense may have anticancer effects. Test-tube studies suggest that the boswellic acids it contains might prevent cancer cells from spreading. A research review notes that boswellic acids may also prevent the formation of DNA in cancerous cells, which could help limit cancer growth.

  • Along with its delicate scent, violet has wonderful health benefits.

    The leaves and flowers have traditionally been used for respiratory ailments with congestion and coughing, such as bronchitis. Violet contains salicylic acid, which is similar to the pain-relieving component in aspirin, and both the leaves and flower are used to ease headaches. Violet is moist and cooling and the leaves ease inflammation, and when used externally, soothe skin irritations and swelling. It has an affinity for the lymphatic system and can promote healthy lymphatic function. Modern research is investigating its antimicrobial properties (Zarrabi et al., 2013). An infused oil of the leaf and the essential oil can be massaged into breasts to maintain breast health and as adjunct support for breast cancer and cysts.

    For women, violet offers up sisterly love decreasing swellings and soreness in breast tissue, for instance, in mastitis, fibrocystic breasts, PMS, lumps and cancer. For nursing mothers, a soothing violet poultice is amazing for soothing cracked nipples and relieving the heat and pain of mastitis. Violet oil is a beautiful choice for a breast oil. It is wonderful for massaging into the breasts during loving self-care as well as for bring welcome relief to swollen fibrocystic breasts and even as a helper when dealing with cancerous lumps.

    Violet has a long history of use in dissolving lumps in the body - violet has has been used by herbalists to by those dealing with cancer of the breasts, lungs, lymphatic glands, urinary tract and GI tract. Violet leaf oil and poultices applied to the breast are said to help “dissolve lumps, cysts, calcifications and growths.” Weed states that she “considers them [the poultice] especially invaluable when dealing with in situ carcinomas.”6 Weed further explains that both “internal and external use of violet can shrink a breast lump in a month.”7 She also explains that violet has the ability to slow cancer growth.8 The leaves are said to relieve “the pain in cancerous growths, especially in the throat.”9

    Violet is also a wonderful addition to any longevity lifestyle. In her book “Breast Cancer? Breast Health!” Weed encourages us to use violet as part of an anticancer lifestyle. She explains that high amounts of phytochemicals present in plants like violet assists the body in staying healthy and nourishing the immune system.

  • There is growing evidence that citrus fruit, and limonene-rich citrus essential oils, could play a role in the prevention of breast cancer.  I then took my knowledge from herbalism and added Violet leaf to the Coconut. For women, violet offers up sisterly love decreasing swellings and soreness in breast tissue, for instance, in mastitis, fibrocystic breasts, PMS, lumps and cancer.

    It is not implausible that combination of fresh oranges, green tea and a topical essential oil formulation could be preventive for many people. The below formulation is a suggestion based essential oils that each have a research-based potential for prevention.
