This blend is designed to stop hot spots in their tracks. They can quickly grow overnight and are painful and itchy. This is also normally moist and weeping with loss of fur around the site.
Please note that the Clove in this formula is an herbal infusion, the essential oil is dermocaustic and will burn the canine. The infusion provides some of the analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects of the Clove without the risk of irritation.
I also am using Sage, this does have a high ketone count, and we are using it in a very small amount due to its drying and mucolytic properties for this weeping wound.
 
Ingredients: Almond, sweet (Prunus amygdalus var. dulcis), Sage Dalmatian (Salvia officinalis), Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia), Clove Bud Infusion (Eugenia caryophyllata).
 
How to Use:  apply 2-4 drops several times a day to the affected area. Once the hot spots stop weeping and begin to heal, you can begin using the Boo Boo Healing Salve or the Wound Care blend on the area.
